A pure product of Studio Images, Nhean Lyda was invited in 2021, along with 9 other Cambodian photographers, to participate in the textile exhibition. For this carte blanche, she floated mats on the Mekong where people frequently come to wash them. She produced poetic images with these familiar objects by subtly playing with color and light.

Born in Phnom Penh in 1986, she completed her studies in 2007 and established herself as a seller at the Russian Market. In 2009 she joined Studio Images and followed the workshops organized in this context at the French Cultural Center, now the French Institute of Cambodge. Very busy with her family obligations, she practices photography at a slow pace.
