
The festival relies on an international curatorial team whose complementary profiles combine local expertise with international experience, a diversity of artistic practices, and the strategic coordination of projects. This strengthened structure aims to respond to the needs of a Cambodian artistic scene currently in transition, seeking new frameworks for reflection and processes of professionalization.
The team is composed of
Marie LE MOUNIER
Artist, teacher, and art historian specializing in photography and historical and contemporary images. Marie, who worked for many years with the Rencontres d’Arles, France, oversees the festival’s curatorial coordination and contributes to the development of national and international partnerships. She teaches at Studio Images, Cambodia and KU Leuven, Lieven Gevaert Center for Photography and Visual Culture, Belgium.
SOVAN Philong
Photographer and director of Studio Images, the first school entirely dedicated to photography in Southeast Asia. Philong has a detailed knowledge of the local artistic scene and is responsible for the management of the festival’s exhibitions. His expertise ensures a strong connection between training and artistic production in the field of photography, as well as international visibility.
MOENG Meta
Curator and community project manager, Meta specializes in Cambodian art and photography. Her in-depth knowledge of the local art scene enables her to identify artists, develop collaborations, and mobilize partners and sponsors at the regional level.
Isabelle LE MINH
Artist, teacher, and curator, specializing in photography and visual practices in France and internationally. Within the festival, Isabelle who teaches at HEAR in Strasbourg, France is notably responsible for developing exchange programs with schools abroad and establishing international partnerships.
SAM I-shan
Independent curator specializing in photography and moving image practices in Southeast Asia. With experience in international art institutions (National Gallery Singapore, Singapore Art Museum, and Esplanade Visual Arts, among others), I-shan contributes to the development of platforms for dialogue at regional and international levels, supporting the festival’s objectives of cultural cooperation.
