A landmark event on the Southeast Asian photographic scene, the 16th edition of the Photo Phnom Penh Festival will be held from November 19 to December 19, 2025, in the heart of the Cambodian capital.
16years! It has been 16 years since Photo Phnom Penh was born on the initiative of Alain Arnaudet, then director of the French Cultural Center. A festival which had the dual ambition of establishing exchanges between European and Asian artists and fostering the emergence of a new generation of photographers, in a small country still reeling from the murderous madness of the Khmer Rouge regime, the. The inauguration program takes place for 5-day from 19 to 23 November 2025
* The “Photo is your memory” project offers you the opportunity to print or scan the photos of your choice, free of charge, at the locations and times mentioned in this program, throughout the opening weekend of the festival. If your photos are old or damaged, the Photo Phnom Penh team will scan them, retouch them to preserve them, and print them.
