Studio Images is a photography and media school under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training. Located in Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capital, it offers a two-year program that provides solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the artistic and technical fields of photography.
The facility, spanning over 400 square meters in a newly renovated building, offers state-of-the-art equipment, including a digital lab, studio, exhibition space, a library with over 2,000 books, and an analog lab.
The school delivers an associate degree to students who successfully complete the two-year program.
Studio Images aims to provide students with a solid knowledge of all aspects of photography. It prepares the young Cambodian generation for a career as image professionals in fields such as artist-photographer, commercial/studio photographer, event photographer, photojournalist, re toucher and post-production, exhibition manager and publisher.

Studio Images additionally offers courses tailored for amateur or advanced photographers in the form of workshops and Saturday classes. Various "à la carte" options allow individuals to learn photography or improve their skills by enrolling in practical workshops.

Studio Images gives students the unique opportunity to participate in field trips to other photography schools, institutions and venues in Cambodia and abroad. By visiting photography schools and institutions in different countries, our students can compare educational approaches, engage in cross-cultural exchanges, and expand their professional networks.
At Studio Images, we offer internships with our partners to complement theoretical training and broaden professional horizons. Internships, which will take place in the second year, will place our students in photography-related companies and organizations, such as media companies, press agencies, photography studios and cultural venues.
These internships offer hands-on experience, allowing our students to work with top professionals. They will apply their skills to real-world projects, from editorial photography to commercial shoots, gaining valuable insights into the workflow and dynamics of professional photography environments.
Foreign Exchange programs at Studio Images will provide our students in their second year with a unique opportunity to spend some time abroad, widening their experience and enriching their photographic work with perspectives gained from global immersion.
Studio Images is open to candidates 18 years or older. Students will be asked to present their work to a jury composed of photography and media professionals.
