A key event on Southeast Asia’s photographic scene, Photo Phnom Penh celebrates its 17th edition as part of the bicentenary of the invention of photography, marked worldwide by more than a thousand events. The festival takes place alongside the 20th Francophonie Summit, only the second to be held in Asia since Hanoi. Under the theme At Home in the World, this edition explores the diversity of photographic expressions and questions our relationship to the places, languages, communities, memories, landscapes, and values that shape our sense of belonging.
